Racism in European Stadiums

In the past months Europe has been victim of racism from fans towards black, and South American soccer players. This racism started in France but later it became something very common in Spanish stadiums. Although authorities have been condeming it since it started it dosnt seem that they are doing anything to stop it and more cases occur every week in Spanish stadiums. Fans call black and South American soccer players monkeys and immitate the screams of a monkey, making fun of their color of skin. We hope authorities really start doing something about this before the situations worsens.

Players have organized quikly to fight this terrible situation. Tierry Henry, Samuel Eto and some other players have spoken against the situation. What I can not believe is that some players think the "it is part of the game" as Roberto Carlos of Brazil mentioned after he was a victim of all this shoutings. Mexican soccer coach Javier Aguirre, who coaches for Osasuna condemned this situation, and after one of his player was a victim the coach turned to the crowd, who was shouting and gave them the finger. Later he repented of doing this but said that there should be something done about it. He believes not every Spanish is a racist but its only a couple of ignorants who should be kept from entering the stadiums.
